Official QB Jaden Rashada: COMMITS… & then Flips to the gator… & then the gator welches on the payments so he doesn’t enroll and rescinds NLI

It use to be a much simpler time. You know, just put a few grand in a Chick fil A bag and call it a day.

Just like with Citizen...these numbers or conditions are what it would take for them to go to Turdville. It's not what they're getting here.

True. I would love for Rashada to say that UM was not the highest offer on the table. Now I know the turds would call him a liar, becuz after all, SEC SEC SEC.

Good question. I think it is, simply due to the astronomical deal that he got. No one is gonna try and top that. Pretty much everyone, outside of Knoxville at least, looks at that deal and shakes their head. I don't think JR'S deal will illicit the same response.

Though you're not wrong, NIL being injected may have an effect on the way things go from here on out. The truth is, we don't know and the way it's been in the past, where QBs in particular don't flip and recruit other high end players, may change. I remember when it looked like JR was trending...

I would absolutely die if the staff trolled UF with a dinner plate pic. Murder, death, kill

I feel you man. To me, this is about asset allocation and confidence in your craft. UM is operating like an NFL franchise. Now I understand there are differences, but Mario is very confident in the qb room as currently constructed and his staff's ability to develop talent. As such, the assets...

Imma have to roll with Mario until he proves that i shouldn't. I too am interested to see how the Rashada situation affects other targets, but I'll trust that this is the most prudent, not most popular, move for UM.

Rashada really sounds like one of the recruits @1murhurricane was referring to when talking about silent commits who have not gone public but are going around collecting "perks" from other schools.

You're absolutely right. The difference here is that the NFL and the NFLPA provided the parameters to change the structure for the players and teams to shift the revenue. I believe Sam Bradford was the last draft pick to get that mega deal before even taking a snap. In this case, there's no...

Just remind Rashada that just a few months ago Lane was desperately trying to get out of Oxford to go where?
