2023 Nyckoles Harbor: 6'5, 230 ATH from DC

My man, if he can land a top WR and a top DB, he can land guys at any position. He won't start fielding top 15 classes any time soon but he'll definitely get guys and I wouldn't be surprised to see Colorado in the 20s/30s rankings in the not too distant future.

I honestly don't think it matters to kids. BEsides, the kids up north run indoors in the winter.

2023 Nyckoles Harbor: 6'5, 230 ATH from DC

My guess is yeah based on the fact that he's a city kid. He could very easily not be, though. I don't believe Colorado is a real threat but if Oregon gets an OV, they become a big player/.

Jelani has the fastest 100m time in the country this year iirc - 10.21. Kid is a soph and is regarded as the fastest kid in the country. So yeah, impressive

Agree. I don’t think harbor is your typical x/z WR. Rather, he’s your TE (I believe folks refer to it as F tight end) that has more of a HB/WR/TE type of role where it’s hard to stick him with a DB and you want him to draw a LB or safety. Basically, he can be schemed well

2023 Nyckoles Harbor: 6'5, 230 ATH from DC

Agree. Naturally the ability is enticing but as per folks who are close to the dmv and watch him play, the knocks against him are that he struggles vs good press coverage, isn’t a good route runner and has inconsistent hands. Now, all those things can improve and you always take a kid like...

Lol now Randy moss was stiff? Lawd You do know that just because you’re 6-5, 220 that means you have the same athletic ability/agility, right?

That’s the rub - he’s said that he does not really want to put on weight in college which means he’ll be playing at 220-225 at the next level.

This is where I’m at. As a WR, he doesn’t have the smoothness you need. OTOH, He’s only averaged one catch per game his entire career so it’s really hard to assess his ability, though. To me, his ideal positions are TE or DE/LB.

I think Michigan has always been the team to beat. UMd might make it interesting.

Like mpemba and Wilson, we’ve been on the outside looking in for a while now.

Realistically? None. We are trying for guys like hill, hicks, innis, and Wilson but all of them will be tough sledding. I guess you can throw in baxter in that group as a borderline 5 star guy.

. This. I'm always in the camp of sign as many elite athletes as you can. Whether they translate at the next level is completely debateable. But, with these kinds of kids, if they are positionless for a reason and just are unable to translate their athletic ability to the next level, they...

You think Skinner is out there plowing people? Not all TEs are built alike and have the same role in an offense.

2023 Nyckoles Harbor: 6'5, 230 ATH from DC

Not disagreeing with you. My comment and your comment are not mutually exclusive. I'm of the mindset that you take these freaks and then figure out the rest later. That said, his future on offense is at TE and not at wR. Personally, I don't know that he'd be terribly effective at WR at the...

Eh, at most I'd put him at TE. He doesn't have the fluidity to play WR at the next level.
