Jake Garcia gets a visit from Lashlee

I watched his HUDL highlights and Garcia looked very good to me.. considering he was only a sophomore. Milroe is my first choice at QB, Garcia second. I ave no issue with Garcia as our QB for this class.

Agree on everything you said. Kirby Smart has had the same stubborn problem as Saban- too conservative on offense.

Clemson beat them those two times because they had the best player on the field both times- Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence. Bama had more talented rosters. Especially that 2016-17 bama defense, my lord...

In order to beat bama, you need to have an uptempo offense and special QB. I think if we have a great 2020 season and King balls, there will be some great QB’s in the portal. I’m focused on 2020 though and D’Eriq King. Best QB we’ve had in years.

Alabama game should not define our 2021 season. We lost to LSU in the ‘18 opener then won 5 games in a row with that epic comeback against FSU. After the FSU comeback, the momentum was crazy.. Hasselwood was loving us, Stevenson, etc. and the rest of our schedule was so easy. When we laid that...

When they try *really* hard to show they are “all in” and, “committed” it’s a sign they are actually not. I find it interesting he felt the need to post that a day or two after the Romello Brinson commitment. We know Brinson and Garcia have been in contact.

Okay, you got me man. We must give credit where credit is due.. the defensive performance against Virginia was great, the overall preference against FSU was great, the offense explosion against Louisville was great.

My opinion/guess- unless Texas has a bad season (I don’t think they will), Milroe isn’t de-committing. Garcia is more realistic of an option.

I want to drag everyone down the path of *reality*. What I said in my post is the *reality* of this program. We don’t need to dwell on last years awful season, but we do need to learn from it. You gave me a thumbs down for basically saying “water is wet”.

I mean, he’s not wrong. I wouldn’t stop at just FIU, Duke and La Tech. What about Georgia Tech. Those losses are beyond embarrassing.. and barely beating Central Michigan? Listen, if we played in the SEC or B1G, I get it. Deep conferences with many quality teams. The ACC coastal is GARBAGE. I...

Blake Baker worries me as well.. Cant just win with pure talent. It isn’t that simple/easy. Need to have good coaches. Ed Orgeron is a good example of just an okay head coach (in my opinion) who surrounded himself with the best assistants/recruiters. I like the Lashlee hire by Manny a lot. Still...

Need to win double digit games in 2020. As you said- Bama in 2021, Clemson and A&M in 2022. Need to capitalize on this weak schedule.

Nava Navaughn Donaldson redshirting this year, getting his body in shape and being part of the o-line next year would be great. Haven’t given up on him yet. Needs to redshirt and work on his body though.

Skill position talent is there (and has always been there for the most part). Our issues on offense have been at QB and at O-line. If Walker and Rivers end up being as advertised, that will change everything. And I think if King balls and we have a great season like we should, Garcia will be a cane.
