Miami adds Lou Cristobal to roster

There is no excuse for McCoy not playing every play at LG. They were rotating series. Totally ridiculous. Lou had no business being on that field.

    Pack it up boys

It’s amazing Mario made it this far in coaching. I’ve never seen anybody so bad situationally. Pretty amazing.

Florida State Week - Football Coach Press Conferences

Is Dawson’s comment on Smith not getting the ball out of the backfield pretty alarming? We don’t have any way to scheme something there? I thought that was a really poor answer. You get paid way too much at that level to say, well, it’s a physical game and we could only hand the ball to the...

    Josh Pate On Miami

Mario also wasn’t brought here to perform like the last 20 years. He’s been given unprecedented resources and, thus far, haven’t been any better. In the portal era (he’s used that heavily), year 2 is more like the old year 3 so there isn’t an excuse to be plodding around like this. Simply...

    Josh Pate On Miami

He leaves a lot out. Reality is 5-7 last year with a home loss to MTSU was awful so clearing that bar by 1-2 games isn’t much. Secondly, most of the initial coaching staff was fired amid dysfunction after year 1. Third, Mario’s issues with offense and QB play remain very clear. We just...

    Face the music dmoney

I think everybody is shook at how bad these first two seasons have gone. I could never imagined things would look this bad personally.

Era defining game. Mario is the bust we all knew he'd be

I’d argue Mario is running himself out of town 23 months in. His tenure has been a complete disaster. Staffing has been a mess, on field play worse. As bad as MTSU was last year, he comes up with GT this year to further embarrass everybody. Somebody either gets his ear and convinces him to...

Era defining game. Mario is the bust we all knew he'd be

If Mario is ever going to succeed, he has to get out of the way. I think a lot of us assumed he would be the CEO leader type, but I’ve seen a much different picture so far. I think he heavily involves himself in game plans, scheme etc and he sucks at that to put it mildly. He’s not a good X/O...

Mario Cristobal cost his team again..

Mario just isn’t a very good HC right now. There are others that bear some responsibility but his job is to get his team to play well and, 21 games in, this isn’t close

    CANES vs NC STATE 11/4

We gave Mario a 10 year contract to recruit and bang his head into lockers. Things can always change, but the returns 2 years in look like this is a disaster.

    CANES vs NC STATE 11/4

Mario is getting paid a lot of money to coach some really ugly football. This team is as painful to watch as we’ve had

    A Look At 2024

Rothstein also came away hyping George a few weeks ago. I think he’s the real deal.

This is not a smart team

His philosophy on this is really concerning. There is coach speak, and then there are statements that give insight into what is going on. His answer always revolves around “work hard” and supposedly he works a lot of hours. That is not really a great thing. Most effective people are trying...

2024 DT Francis Brewu - Thomas Worthington HS (Columbus, OH) offered -Pitt Commit

    https://www.on3.com/db/gavin-grover-154414/ I’d take a look here as TE2.

He’s a Mario culture guy all the way and he will be a good player.

2024 DT Francis Brewu - Thomas Worthington HS (Columbus, OH) offered -Pitt Commit

Also, coming out of that game, Olentangy has a TE committed to Cincinnati. Gavin Grover. He’s every bit of 6-6, runs ok, and catches with his hands. If we really want another TE in this class, I’d take a look here. He’s got a good future.

2024 DT Francis Brewu - Thomas Worthington HS (Columbus, OH) offered -Pitt Commit

He’s good enough to play at Miami 100%. Would be one of the strongest guys on the team day 1. I don’t think he has the size to be a star, but he’s plenty good enough to play an important role on a good college football team. He’s also a great student, team leader, and universally respected...

2024 DT Francis Brewu - Thomas Worthington HS (Columbus, OH) offered -Pitt Commit

He was solid. Team was totally overmatched. They were down 49-7 at halftime. He does a good job taking on double and triple teams and typically holds the line or gets into backfield. I’d say he had 1 sack and 1 other TFL. Olentangy’s QB is a Penn St commit. They primarily used quick...
