I don't think that Duane Starks gets enough love. He was a great DB and one of the few bright spots of the 97 season. Had a really good NFL career as well and had an INT for TD in the Super Bowl.
We should've blown the doors off of VT. We were up 20-3 and then I think Dorsey was dealing with a shoulder injury which made it tough for us to move the ball in the 2nd half. People point to the dropped 2pt conversion but they had another chance to win after that. Ed Reed intercepted a pass to...
I watched it. Actually have a video of that game. The announcer even says that Jenkins had to gear down a bit and wait on it for a sec. Otherwise he walks into the end zone.
Actually he did have to slow up. If KW puts a bit more air under that, Jenkins walks in with a td as he had his man beat by quite a bit. He had to slow down and wait on the ball and got tackled at like the 5. I believe KW snuck the ball in on 4th and goal for the td.
It was like 10 degrees when we beat the **** out of Pitt in 2003 and shut down Larry Fitzgerald. Like the one poster said, when we're good, we're good. Weather doesn't matter.

Ed Reed and Andre Johnson are basically the cheat codes in that game. Reed is sniffing out any option bull**** and who in the **** is gonna cover Andre Johnson?
I live in Charlottesville. It's worth it to fly into Charlottesville. You can get decent flights from FLL-CHO. I do it two or three times a year. Sometimes you can get flights as cheap as $180 or so. Really just depends. I think that on average, it's about $50-$75 more to fly out of CHO rather...
That 00 team would've curb stomped OU. Only lost that one game all year. Basically the longest road trip you can make in college football, young QB starting, Moss was on a bad ankle and we still only lost by 5 points.
Dre was the most physically gifted WR I've seen at UM. Moss was pretty ridiculously athletic too and people overlook that. He had to catch some terrible moon balls from Kenny Kelly.
However, best IMO was Irvin.
This right here. And I always have to call bull**** on most people who didn't go to UM who say they actually watched the game b/c it was on ESPN 33 or what the **** ever and nobody but a diehard Canes fan would be sitting in front of their computer watching us play FIU on a Sat night.
I'd throw FSU out b/c Morris was injured in that game. The others are valid points though. ND might've been a little different if Dorsett would've caught one of those passes and the O-line bothered to block anyone but still, Morris didn't play well in that one either.
