I am setting the record straight. For $3MM, Mack has to at least listen. That is ~2x his salary. $3MM is an insane amount for an AD so we clearly have some serious power to choose among P5’s elite. Don’t get be started on Dan and basketball. Please. He didn’t even hire Brad and…he is addicted...

Mack Rhoades, at $3MM/year, would be ~doubling his salary to come here. There is your name. That man has an actual track record of hiring coaches and then leading the school to success.

Bingo. If we are paying $3MM/ year that is ~2x Mack Rhoades salary. He is the guy to get if you’re throwing around that kind of money. That guy has a track record of selecting coaches and direct impact of the on-field success.

A few things… 1. If we’re paying $3MM for an AD, then that is ~2x Mack’s annual salary. I have trouble believing we actually pursued Mack at all if that is the case. Do you think Mack would be uninterested in that kind of raise? 2. As for Dan, not sure how much credit he should get for Clemson...
