Rust has definitely been in development much longer. I haven’t played rust, but I’ve seen a bunch of it. Scum seems to me, to be much more of a simulation. It’s hard to explain. I’d do some YouTube / twitch watching if you’re on the fence. I’m having a blast. Almost 200 hours in.

Killing floor 2 is a great time waister. Other than that, been playing bannerlord and scum on PC, as well as the show on ps4 and nfs heat on Xbox.

We’ve had the better team for a long time and gotten nothing. Something is missing. Maybe that’s swagger is what I’m wondering.
