Ward threw for 7,000 against FBS opponents. Pimplepopper transferred to Albany because he wasn't going to play at ODU. Otherwise terrific comparison.

Exactly. If you like this kid's film/moxy whatever. No problem with that. But stop comparing him to a guy who threw for 7,000 yards in a P5 conference and just declared early for the NFL draft. Not every FCS QB can make the jump.

Cam threw for 7,000 yards in the Pac 12. Reese had a 58% completion percentage in FCS. I don't want to dump on the kid but people need to stop with this comparison. Just because Ward made the jump doesn't mean that every FCS QB can be QB1 at the FBS level.

Has this been reported or discussed here, or is this just an assumption on your part?
