    Quick takes from Spring Game

One commentator (I listened to WQAM and watched YouTube) did mention that Lofton was limping slightly. 🙏 that it’s minor.

    Scrimmage Notes

Lofton had 16 rushing TDs during his last 2 years at Bishop Gorman. Not a fluke at RB.

    Lofton comparison to CJ Donaldson

Man, How in the world can you construe my praise of Lofton as some kind of knock on Deebo? I’m a huge Niner fan and great admirer of Deebo. My comments were aimed to highlight the excellent traits of Kyle and Deebo and identify a similar combination of those traits in Lofton. Nothing more...

    Lofton comparison to CJ Donaldson

Lofton = the 49er combo of Deebo S. crossed with Kyle J. Kyle blocks like **** and is an excellent receiver in short and intermediate routes Deebo goes deep, is an explosive and powerful YAC machine and excellent RB. Lofton can do these things!

Spring Spring PractiSe #9- Saturday March 30

Yes, crazy Joe Stalin had a spy there who passed along info to the Ruskies. We need a Russian spy at these practices!

Xavier Restrepo, 1k receiving yards despite QB chaos (Video)

    Thursday practice observations

D$ Any evidence of Cam taking some snaps under center vs the shotgun? I’m guessing that Cam’s NFL ambitions would be helped quite a lot if NFL scouts could see that he can efficiently handle snaps under center (see Brock Purdy in the 49er offense) vs strictly a shotgun scheme. Thoughts?

Lofton doesn’t play TE, he plays football (video)

He’s Kyle J. crossed with Deebo Samuel of the 49ers. *Kyle: great blocker, catches short and intermediate passes *Deebo: can go deep, explosive YAC, can be used as a running back, a scoring machine. P.S. thanks for the obscure reference to Dominque Byrd of USC. My two sons played football...

    The Bank (3/18)

D, Among the RB recruits, where would you rank Byron Louis out of Heritage re: * talent vs the other Cane targets * likelihood of signing with thenCanes Thanks.

Four-star TE Chase Loftin developing bond with Coach Woodiel

D, Canes are in the hunt for multiple top TEs. Assuming we sign two, who would you choose as our highest priorities among our group of TE targets? Thanks.

    Favorite Recruit(s) of this cycle?

It’s Lofton for me: catches passes, incredible YAC, runs the ball and is an effective blocker. Most of all, he scores TDs…20 this year for the #1 high school team in the US. His versatility reminds me of the way the 49ers use their multitalented players. Deebo, Ayuuk, Kittle, McCaffrey and...

    December 5th Draft decision updates

I believe Linder was an OG for the Canes, not a Center. He converted to become an excellent Center in the NFL.

    Bat signal

I’d like the DT grad transfer from Penn. 6’5”, 310. Former wrestling champion. The guy has probably been double teamed form4 years in the Ivy League. With Bain and Scott, he won’t be double teamed ever again. Let him eat!

    Miami Hurricanes Transfer Portal Wishlist

I want from the Portal a starting QB, a real difference maker a starting Center if Lee leaves 2 WRs who are playmakers 2 DTs 4 DBs, 2 corners and 2 safeties

Out of our top 4 WR's, who is expected to bounce after this year?

I would fully expect B Smith to stay in that he’s never been a starter. That said, I’d offer all 4 of them improved NIL packages to get them to consider staying. My guess is that both Restrepo and George might come back. They had so so seasons last year and could solidify their value by...

    The Bank (9/14)

And a Center. Lou and Ryan are not it as successors to Lee. Our incoming Center (the flip from Harvard) may be the guy in the future. But not likely as a true freshman.

    The Bank (9/14)

Agree. Say Emory gets the QB starting role next year. Brown bolts or changes his position leaving Judd as our only backup. No bueno. Id get a second recruited QB and perhaps a Portal transfer to boot.
