There is a limit of 35 scholarships per team and only 27 can receive partial scholarship aid.

Actually, D1 schools get 11.67 scholarships which are spread out over the players. Very few get a full ride. It's one rule that makes it tough for expensive private schools to recruit against less expensive state schools.

Canesproponent obviously meant to say that there is a limit of 35 players, not 35 scholarships.
