The Canes added their 17th commitment of the 2018 recruiting class and the second tight end in the last week. Mallory is rated as the #11-TE and #204-OVR in 247sports' composite rankings. Miami assistant Todd Hartley led both Mallory's recruitment, as well as Brevin Jordan's. Jordan is rated as the #1-TE in 247sports' composite.

About time these tight ends get it. I never understood why we missed out on so many.

This kid has NFL written all over him. He's an elite TE and imo a better prospect than Jordan, who his a big time player in his own right.

My god this class is about as perfect as can get. Welcome to the U!

He is currently ranked at 204 on 247 composite.

Can you believe he will be the 11th ranked recruit committed to us based on the 247 composite?

He would have been in the top 8 in every other class since 2011 and we are not even done with this class yet!
