American (0-1) 2
Norland (1-0) 26

-The Vikings rebounded from a loss to Carol City in their kickoff classic game. 2014 WR Kendrick Edwards had 3 catches for 29 yards and 2 TDs during the game. Norland will face Northwestern this Friday.

Krop (0-1) 14
Jackson (1-0) 22

-The Generals were led by Star QB Quinton Flowers, who had 54 yards rushing and a touchdown on a 30 yard run. The key for Jackson was containing Krop star Jovon Durante to only one catch. They will face Braddock on Friday.

Homestead (0-1) 21
Killian (1-0) 42

-In one of the surprise games of the week, Killian handled Homestead easily. The Cougars led 35-0 at the half on the strength of JaQuan Johnson's 2 TDs and Trumaine Washington's coverage on Homestead star Ermon Lane. Lane finished the game with 4 catches for 154 yards and 2 TDs, which were both scored against the Killian second unit. Their quarterback play will need to improve for him to be at used at his fullest this season. The Cougars will definitely be a team that makes noise this year. I think they could be the South Miami of last year, who came out of nowhere for a 9-win season.

North Miami Beach (0-1) 6
Miami Northwestern (1-0) 42

-The Bulls rebounded from their 32-6 loss to Booker T in the kickoff classic. It was all MNW from the beginning, as RB Darius Tice scored twice on 7 carries, while adding 127 yards. 'Canes commit Artie Burns had a pick in the game.

Hialeah (1-0) 31
Belen Jesuit (0-1) 21

-The Wolverines lost their first game on their newly remodeled field. Hialeah LB George Williams was the player of the game. He had 106 receiving yards and a TD, while sealing the game on a fumble recovery for TD as well. Word is that he was dominant on the defensive side of the ball in this game.

Booker T. Washington (1-0) 42
Carol City (0-1) 13

-After knocking off Northwestern in their pre-season tilt, The F-5 Tornadoes handled a quality Carol City squad. Treon Harris accounted for 5 of the 6 touchdowns for BTW, passing for 3 and rushing for 2. BTW Star LB Matt Thomas sat out with Strep Throat. Next Saturday night is arguably the biggest matchup of the year when they face Central. This may be their only roadblock to an undefeated season.

Columbus (0-1) 28
St. Thomas Aquinas (1-0) 38

-It was a back-and-forth game between the two powerhouse Catholic schools. Aquinas was eventually too much for Columbus, but Jesus Wilson was the best player on the field.

Analysis from Tito Benach
After not playing each other for over a decade, Columbus and St.Thomas Aquinas met in Sun Life Stadium for what was an exciting matchup.
St. Thomas Aquinas came out on top with a 38-28 close game victory.

-Columbus 2013 ATH Jesus "Bobo" Wilson is a playmaker with the ball in hands. Wilson absolutely abused Al Harris during the game. Wilson also contributed on the defensive side of the ball by playing corner. Wilson had multiple catches where he just flat out beat Harris and took off. Wilson is committed to the Seminoles.

-Columbus' 2013 RB Daryl Chestnut had a great performance including two touchdowns and a big Seventy yard touchdown run. Chestnut is one of the more underrated running backs in South Florida, but looks to prove his talent. Chestnut is an explosive Running Back who I believe is unstoppable once he makes his cut to the outside.

-2015 S Calvin Brewton played well, having nine tackles during the game. While Brewton is still very young, he is talented at the Safety position and is very similar to current Hurricane and former Explorer, Deon Bush, He is lanky and has good size. Brewton is going to be a big prospect for the 2015 class. Him and Jaquan Johnson could be two Targets at Safety for Miami.

-2015 QB Tucker Beirne surely did not have his best game against the Raiders today. Beirne threw three interception, while i can say one of them was a Wide Receiver's fault the other two were inaccurate. Beirne did connect with Wilson a lot during the game including a fly route that set up Columbus' first touchdown. Beirne did play a tough opponent in St.Thomas Aquinas but I can assure his road from here on out won't be an easy one with teams like Northwestern, Central and Southridge on the schedule.

For the Raiders

-QB John O'Korn surprised a lot of watchers as he scrambled for three touchdowns, and essentially leading his raiders to victory. O'Korn is committed to Houston

-DL Joey Bosa had a solid performance as he had many plays were he stuffed the run. Bosa played great despite a reported leg injury. Bosa could be considered the best Defensive player in the county behind Matthew Thomas. Bosa is committed to Ohio State.

- 2014 DL Anthony Moten had a good performance as he also helped slow down the Columbus' running game. Moten actually left the game at one point for what seemed like cramps. Moten did return and finished the game.

-2014 WR Corey Holmes did not do much, Holmes was not a big factor in the game as he only had 1 or 2 catches. While this may surprise some, considering how Columbus left Stacy Coley last week, the more logical statement to make is that Columbus' pass defense is tough. Holmes did have an acrobatic catch for a nice gain during the game.
-This was a great matchup for Columbus before next week's rivalry game vs. Belen at FIU.

Coral Gables (0-1) 6
Southridge (1-0) 42

-Troy Cook was not asked to do much in his Spartans debut, as he only attempted 7 passes. The star on the night was Southridge 2014 RB Jamal Adajamah, who had 125 yards and 2 TDs. They will face Homestead this Friday.

Gulliver (0-1) 16
Chaminade-Madonna (1-0) 24

-FSU commit Adrian Baker scored on a 25 yard reception.

Central (0-1) 3
Grayson (Ga.) (0-1) 35

-It was not a good night for the Rockets at all, as they didn't even seem like they belonged on the same field as Grayson. The play of QB Brandon Diaz will determine how far the Rockets can go this year. Nationally ranked #1 player Robert Nkemdiche scored 2 short rushing TDs for Grayson.

Glades Day (1-0) 28
Pace (0-1) 23

-Kelvin Taylor dominated the game for Glades Day. He had rushing scores of 80, 40, and 2 yards on the night. Pace receiver Guy Lemonier also had a spectacular game with 178 yards and 2 TDs.

Cypress Bay (1-0) 29
Deerfield Beach (0-1) 6

-After beating Homestead in their pre-season game last week, Cypress Bay followed it up with a win against a good Deerfield Beach team. Running Back Matt Dayes had another big game for the Lighting, rushing for 117 yards and 2 TDs. 2014 S Marquese Dudley-Gordon also had a rushing TD of his own. Wake Forest WR commit went for 143 yards and a TD.

South Plantation (1-0) 31
Nova (0-1) 14

-It was a historic game for South Plantation, as Erin Demiglio became the first female to play QB in the state of Florida's history. She came in and took a few snaps late in the game. Miami commit Alex Collins had 221 yards and 3 TDs in what looks like the beginning of a dominant year for him.

Miramar (0-1) 6
Manatee (1-0) 41

-The young Patriots struggled against on of the Nation's top teams. The Manatee defensive line was dominant and they looked as advertised as a team. Miramar RB Alex Lee was a bright spot, as he ran for 120 yards on 10 carries. This should be a building block game for the Patriots, and they will be much stronger as the year progresses. More analysis coming on this game later in the week from Cameron Underwood.

Plantation (0-1) 7
Hallandale (1-0) 17

-This is what I got from a source who was at the game:

Hallandale
2014 S Jon Jackson had 5 solo tackles on the night and was not tested as Plantation is a wing-t offense.

2014 RB had a solid game but no stats are available. Larry Blustein mentioned him after seeing him live.

Plantation

Former FSU commit Sojourn Shelton was not a factor in the game.

2013 DT Monte Nelson was disruptive up front for a good part of the game with a sack and 2 tfl's.

Hallandale got on the board early with a deep pass from a Freshman QB and then a field goal in the first quarter. The rest of the night was put on the defense's back, as they forced 5 fumbles and for the most part shut down Plantation. A late drive by Hallandale sealed the game taking 6 minutes off the clock while driving 64 yards.

University School (2-0) 44
Island Coast (0-1) 27

-University displayed their explosive offense against Island Coast, as QB Michael White attempted 57 passes and completed 41 of them. 2015 RB Jordan Scarlett had 41 carries for 203 yards and 5 TDs. LaJuan Hunt also ran for 99 yards and a TD. Miami WR target Jordan Cunningham had 9 receptions for 71 yards.

Inlet Grove (0-1) 24
Cardinal Newman (1-0) 72

-Newman led 65-0 at the half. Miami 2014 commit Travis Rudolph had a big game with 3 TDs.

Glades Central (0-1) 9
Dwyer (1-0) 30

-Dwyer pulled away in the fourth after leading 15-9 after 3. Glades Central star Will Likely was contained by Dwyer, which was one of the main reasons they won.

Atlantic Delray (0-1) 0
American Heritage Delray (1-0) 29

-AHD RB Greg Bryant had 98 yards and two scores in the game. Miami DT commit Keith Bryant had 4 tackles and 2 were for loss.
