ProCanes NFL Recap: Week 15

Paul Austria
We are now entering the final stretch of the 2018 NFL season, which means playoff races are starting to tighten up. With that being said, you know some of the former Canes around the league had to show out. Here’s the Week 15 recap of your NFL ProCanes.

RB

Future Hall-of-Famer Frank Gore had only five carries for 14 yards against Minnesota before exiting the game with a left ankle injury that could also force him to miss the last two games of the season for the Dolphins. The Texans had limited success on the ground in their 29-22 victory over the Jets and Lamar Miller was a victim of a stifling New York defense, carrying the ball only three times for eight yards. In a narrow 17-16 win over the Broncos, Browns RB Duke Johnson carried the ball four times for 28 yards to go along with four catches for 25 yards. Gus Edwards ran for 100+ yards for the third time this season to go along with second touchdown on the year as the Ravens continue to solidify the final wild card spot in the AFC playoff race.

WR

In a big win in Kansas City, Travis Benjamin received one carry for eight yards along with two catches for 57 yards as the Chargers now share the top spot in the AFC West with the Chiefs while the latter holds the tiebreaker. Allen Hurns caught one pass for nine yards in an embarrassing loss for the Cowboys, who were shut out by the Colts.

TE

Cleveland’s David Njoku caught three passes on five targets for 30 yards against Denver and the Packers’ Jimmy Graham also had three catches in a loss to the Bears that officially eliminated Green Bay from playoff contention.

What happened to the ProCanes website? I went to it today and it hasn't been updated in years. Did it merge with CIS?
