I think special teams is so depressing we keep unintentionally avoiding the topic. The upside is a competent unit improves our record by 1-2 games. But I don't see what changes aside from a new punter.

There doesnt seem to be any effort to be aggressive and block a kick. Consequently, our blocking on returns is awful. The coverage units seem to lack speed or desire, not sure. But we frequently kick deep only to have the return be on the plus side of the 25. Its maddening.

Sun Belt teams have better special teams. This is on CMR.

How can you have a podcast titled Desperado without this as the intro beat?
