GGOTW Video Highlight- McArthur vs. Cardinal Gibbons

GGOTW Video Highlight- McArthur vs. Cardinal Gibbons

In the regular season finale, I headed out to Hollywood to see McArthur take on Cardinal Gibbons. McArthur came in undefeated, and Cardinal Gibbons was one of the hottest teams in the state. It turned out to be a defensive battle for the majority of the night. McArthur played tough, but they could never find a rhythm offensively. Linebacker Rashad McMiller was a standout for a stout Mustangs defense. Too many self-inflicted wounds and special teams blunders held McArhur back from playing the kind of football they had all year. Khris Bogle led a fierce pass rush from Cardinal Gibbons that was getting after the QB all night. They had a handful of sacks on the night, and forced a couple turnovers. Cardinal Gibbons RB and Pittsbuurgh commit Vincent Davis was the star of the night with his 2 TDs. He churned out tough yards all night and made up for what was a bit of a quiet night for QB Nik Scalzo and the passing attack. Cardinal Gibbons 21 McArthur 0. There wasn't too many highlight reel plays, but here's a few moments from Friday night.
