Mario Cristobal's fourth offseason as the head coach of Miami's football team has gone pretty well. Even though he lost some players from last season through transfers or because they finished their eligibility, Cristobal has worked hard to strengthen his team. He did this by using the transfer portal, bringing in a few high school recruits, and keeping some important returning players.

Miami had a successful offseason, which could lead to a top 20 ranking in the fall. On Thursday, ESPN's Mark Schlabach announced an updated preseason Top 25, placing Miami at No. 21 in the nation.

Funny part is Miami would most likely be the favorite on a neutral field against every team on that list ranked 10-19.

If you look at their schedules, you’ll see why PSU is ranked so high and why Michigan and Illinois are ranked above us.
