I'll say this....can't underestimate our location in proximity to all this SFLA talent....this has to eat at other coaches the fact we can have these players drop in day after day and have face to face contact with coaches and players only helps us....especially when you have a competent coaching staff.

So essentially we've confirmed to him and his dad we can get him in as an EE.
Great news.

I'm going to just trust this completely, and not worry one bit about Jobe the rest of the way.

Also it seems like every ******* commit is planning on EE. We might be completely done with this class by the early December signing period.

Richt made a perfect hire with banda recruiting wise. He's a former bartender so you know he's very personable and can talk very well with people
Didn't Banda come with Diaz? He worked for Diaz at MSU. Richt gets credit for crafting the best defensive staff we've had here in 2 decades, though. And, it starts with signing Coach Kul irrespective of D-Coordinator. Diaz and Kul happened to be a perfect match. Banda is a Diaz soldier. Diaz is a **** of a LB coach. And, everything else falls in place.

Ultimately he still hired him. Richt could have chosen to go with 1 db coach who coaches both cb and safeties. Regardless he has been a great hire

That seems like a silly statement - that would be equivalent to saying 1 coach is going to coach the LB's
and the DL.

"Hey, Josh, do your work and you'll be a Top 3 Corner or Safety on our defense as an EE. You'll have a chance to play immediately and, if you're as good as we all hope, have a clear path to the NFL for the 2021 draft. Oh, and you'll be home with the #1 recruiting class in the nation."

These kids love $ and riding the train. Show them the way to both.

Anyone have the number of EE's we are able to take in for next spring ?

What? Most schools only have 1 db coach. That's the norm in college football for sure

You can take as many as you want but only so many can count backwards to the previous class. I don't know the numbers breakdown but EE aren't capped.

Why wouldn't we be able to take as many EE's as possible?
if you're looking for the list of commits looking to EE, it's literally everyone but Brevin Jordan and Camron Davis.

*Wiggins recently said he's trying to EE.

EE's count against your 85 man limit or whatever. We would need quite a Bit of attrition to get all these kids In as EEs. 6-8 is usually prob the average number for EEs at most schools. This is prob not the case with right still having golden talent on this team and d lineman going into the draft. Maybe we can take 10-15, **** idk

With the addition of another coach, I'd bet most teams get 2 db coaches now though.

Yes, but which year do they count on the 85 limit?
why can't 4 be applied to the previous season (with the 25 per class limit still applied) since we have 4 spots open still, then the rest apply to the next class, after the 10 seniors leave and the rest of the guys that leave early...

I forget how it works really. I think you're on the right track though. There is still the 25 man recruiting class limit and EEs can count towards PY

How many did we take this last class and how many were EE? How many did we take in 2016?

Anyone know where I can get a customized name stitched jersey, not the generic, but the authentic type?

I have bought blank authentic "player issue" jerseys off ebay and sent them to a guy to get names and numbers sewn on. I can forward you his email if that fits what youre looking for
I've been asking this for years, but how do I get a #11 jersey? My Dorsey jersey is nearly torn to bits from frustration. Basically wear it on my shoulders as a towel at this point.

The Dorsey era jersey is tough to find! That jersey (even the player issue) had screen printed numbers and names, they started doing stitched names and numbers with the next design (04-06). I've never asked this guy if he can heatpress new names/numbers on, but its worth a shot to ask.

I found these on ebay, but they arent player issue:
