Texas A&M’s Trey Zuhn Isn’t Worried About Rueben Bain

The College Football Playoff bracket dropped yesterday, and man, the trash talk for Miami vs. Texas A&M has already kicked off. During A&M’s media availability, players were asked about the matchup, and offensive lineman Trey Zuhn had some interesting things to say about Miami star and likely top-5 pick, Rueben Bain Jr.

“I haven’t had time to watch film yet since it just got announced. I don’t think he’ll be a threat we need to worry about too much. We’ve got great players, great offensive linemen, we’ll be able to handle him,” Trey said.

Confidence is one thing, sure. But when you’re talking about Rueben Bain, one of the most scariest defenders in the country saying he “won’t be much of a threat” is basically begging for a heated moment when kickoff comes around.

The 6‑foot‑3, 275‑pound EDGE just had another great year with 37 tackles, 7.5 tackles‑for‑loss, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception. Over his three years at Miami, he’s racked up 25.5 tackles‑for‑loss and 15.5 sacks.

Trey Zuhn is no slouch either. The veteran left tackle started every game this season, is a two‑time team captain, and is one of the key leaders keeping A&M’s offensive line solid.

This got us at CanesInSight fired up. December 20th can’t come closer.
