The way this all played out, I'm suspecting we either went another direction or just weren't as aggressive as other staffs were with him (maybe due to the first thing).

I knew something was up after we offered him and he said in an interview that we had a "slight" lead over Oregon despite them not offering. Still without an Oregon offer the kid visited Texas and declared right afterward that UT and OU were 1-2. So UT jumped us after his visit and OU jumped us for no apparent reason and we went from #1 to #3 in the blink of an eye.. Made no **** sense. Kid knew the schools he was really interested all along..

Maybe, but back before anyone had offered he spent a long time talking to someone I know personally about how much he loved Miami, specifically, without any prodding (my buddy has no care for Miami and wouldn't have brought them up).

Nah we have a better chance with locals, I mean there are a lot more kids like deon bush, duke, jamal carter, herb waters etc. than standish dobard for example but yeah, there are still a lot of fakes

@A_Springs4: Miami back in it

Dont see this going anywhere w/o a visit

Tito, Slim played at 160-170 pounds the whole time he was at the U. Is Springs that light? Don't get me wrong. I'll take another KJ in a heartbeat.

Look at their highlights, maybe not in terms of weight but the way they play is very similar.

Does Springs also have cinderblocks for hands like Mr Jennings? Dude had the WORST hands of any CB in Cane history. ZERO ball skills.

Doesn't matter. Tim Williams has shown me the light.

I won't take him seriously until he visits Miami.

when and if he visits he will be blown away and commit to us later on cause texas is certainly not as nice as CG

When a kid names an " early leader " that's normally code for " I won't be signing there on NSD ".

At least that's the way it seems . That's why I don't get caught in top 20's, 15's or 5's.
