I like the kid but I don't buy that no other schools was onto him because of grades. That smells like horse****.

Kentucky wants him if that makes ya feel better and he got a letter from saban not an offer but a letter

No major coaches roll through that school plus he hasnt gone to the fsu UM UF camps & all the Nike combines iirc. Those things get you stars. Before he went to the camps antonio calloway's only offer was fiu despite going to homstead and transferring to btw now he has officials lined up with fsu bama and auburn

This is a guy who will still come to Miami regardless who is the head coach.

Wow.

See. These are the types of players, these undervalued, underrated South Florida studs, that we should just be stacking when we whiff on the cream of the crop and the blue chippers. Which seems more and more frequent.

Great that a local kid wants to stay home and play for the U. Robert is the kind of player I love to watch.

Congrats Robert.

Nice, welcome to the U. I hope Bleak is wrong about his evaluation.

Also i notice kids are transferring teams every year is it getting like the aau circuit in basketball up my way im in ny/nj but it seems this kids play on a different team each year? Also do they have to pay to get into all these camps and stuff i knoe some kids that cant afford to up here for hoops that go under the radar

Love the pickup. Hopefully that aggression doesn't get "schemed" out of him

How the **** was this kid not heavily recruited. Size, speed, instincts, and ball skills, all the factors that make a great saftey

DOnt get me wrong he has tremendous upside and Cristobal loves him..It's just he's one of those players thats not ready to play and couldnt contribute next year.. HE is more of a project... He is not a cant miss player. Had a great year though... he definitely passes the eye test, just not as talented as some of the other safetys in recent years. I talked to a coache today and they said he has the potential to be a starter but dont expect nothing in the next few years... but he has all the intangibles... but hes not on the level of playmaker like a Deon Bush or a cadillac coming out of high school, and he is not a sleeper many colleges come through edison and know about him....

Vern knows his stuff and knows this kid. Definitely respect his opinion.

But I still like Knowles a lot. His change of direction and acceleration are really impressive-- he's one of those guys who is always on the balls of his feet. He definitely needs some physical development but hopefully that will improve in a college program.
