Miami's recruiting class just got stronger.
Lake Worth, Florida three-star defensive end Jonathan Garvin
committed to the Miami Hurricanes today. Gavin is Miami's 19th commitment of the 2017 class, and joins D.J. Johnson
as the second defensive end. Sources tell CanesInSight that Miami is most likely done recruiting the DE spot for this cycle.
Garvin, the 6-4, 230-pound rush end, has been a fast riser this summer receiving offers from Florida State and Mississippi State. The Hurricanes were also after Central's Owen Carney
and Dillard's Jordan Wright
at defensive end.
247sports.com rates Garvin as the 28th-best strongside defensive end in the country and the 90th-best player in Florida.
