so when a dude commits to miami at a position of need hes not scared of competition?

No when a dude makes it obvious that he's scared of competition is when he's scared of competition.

that may not be the case. if he comes to miami he is almost guaranteed not to start as a fresh. when his soph season comes he will be at least 3 semesters behind griffin & lockley. and they as both better then guys ark & florida bringing in not bama but they are winning they will make alot of guys top 3. to say commit because they are close and they put dudes in the nfl at your position a long time ago will be foolish

Stop this "Griffin the TE" BS, listening to you, Megatron would've been a TE in college...

Lockley is a huge ?, is he really THAT good so Pierce won't see the field? Not really.

That dude is clearly scared of competition, just like Moten...

If he comes to Miami there is no "almost" he definitely aint starting as a freshman or a sophomore..... and again as far as Griffin and Lockley go, you are talking about guys that arent even on the team. So I know he and his coach aint talking about them b/c it would be pathetic if they were.

I'm just sayin when you make it known publicly that immediate playing time is what concerns you based on Depth Charts, that are fluid, then you are scared of competition.....

I could see if you feel like you are the BEST and you want to make sure the best player will play/start regardless of seniority (which is something i can understand especially with how Shannon showed favoritism) but not b/c of a Depth Chart that doesnt exist until after you compete in Fall Camps and practices.

There's not another place in America where multitudes of local coaches push their kids away from the local school.

The worst.

because he said look at the depth chart? davis didnt tell him who to put in his top 3

Go to Tallahassee Lincoln and see if their coaches are telling their kids to look at depth charts or take "team trips" to Alabama. They aren't doing it at Jacksonville First Coast, Baton Rouge Southern Lab HS, or Tuscaloosa Turtle **** High.

depth charts can be a blessing and a curse when it comes to skill positions dudes are looking to play early especially with a dude that has started since he was in optimist

you cant say that, if a dude says he wants to go to a winning program what will you say hes scared of losing? he just has a preference and other school are selling him better at playtime

I think you're missing the point.

"Look at the depth chart."

SMH

Cleveland is a senior this season and Sandmand and Warlord will be seniors when he's a freshman. He'll be competing with Standish, Herndon (if he sticks) and Lockley. The depth charts sets up very favorably for him to get PT his sophomore season.

i get your point but sofla dues see the watkins, cooper, Bridgewater, and other dudes leaving home and playing right away and being productive

I think Golden and staff are moreso sold on getting Devenaire Clarington (2015). Pierce maybe an academic issue also. It maybe be a situation where there is an offer on the table, but we ain't gonna chase you thru the woods.
