Hope it is as a corner. I just did not see safety from those highlights.
 
Predictions for each DB- no insider info just based on opinion and what I've read

CB:

Brini - commits to UM soon (June/July after a visit/camp)

Davis - commits to UF in the summer, Miami continues to recruit hard and he flips in fall or winter

Wilson - battle to the end with UF (my guess is that he follows his bro but with a good season by UM you never know

Henderson - we have to fight off other big time schools but he sticks in the end

S:

Gibson - all Cane

F'agan - we recruit hard but stays FSU

Wright - battle to the end with FSU/LSU etc. I think a good season by UM and he's ours

Burgess - not sure if he's technically a plan 1A kid or not for the staff. I think we lead but if we land bigger fish, does he get slow played?

Carter - same as Burgess

Thoughts anyone? Pete, geo?

Burgess will be here unless we land Harris or F'agan....more likely F'agan obviously [MENTION=3193]nvlahos[/MENTION]

I really hope we land 1 of Wright or Cyrus F'agan. Banda's relationships with them can only go so far with a big time recruit like those 2. We really need to win to land one of those to pair with a few of Burgess/Carter/Gibson/Smith.

Why does miami have to take him? Uf needs corners and they are not beating down his door either. Why does miami have to take somebody they dont want when several big programs seems to agree with their evaluation of roberts.

I think Pete is right... Roberts will not be in this class..it will be a shame..I was at the school when Dias came by a week or two ago..HS staff didn't help ...having him spend half the practice at receiver..that ****ed me off...but other schools are starting to show him the same love he has for UM

That's a shame. I want Roberts to be a CANE. He's the kind of athlete we need to get. I think he just keeps getting better year after year and the final product is a beast.

When a kid has "many" other offers I don't really feel sad for him, because it's best that they go somewhere where they really want him and he'll have a "fair" chance. Also Daniel Wright is the most skilled/athletic SS I've seen in recent years. He and Frierson. If freeshoes land Wright and F'agan we gotta admit they would be formidable. Hopefully we get Wright to team with Jobe for 2017.

Nick Roberts is a take... that kid with some college level strength and condition = true corner. I just don't see the flaws; and based off what UKnowWhat says, seems like he wants to be here.

I justdont think hes that good, like miami good. Just my opinion but isnt there higher rated guys in sfla like davis and company. This isnt a guy where i say i have to have him hes a first rounder. He looks slow to me again all high schoolers well most look fast till they play d1. Maybe hes great but i dont see it, im not a scout just my opinion.

Roberts isn't as good as the "sfla guys"? What a joke

The only CB in south florida for '17 better than Roberts is Stanford Samuels. Roberts is every bit as good, if not better than guys like Davis, Wilson, Brini, etc.

Most of all, HE WANTS TO BE A CANE. I honestly can't believe this staff is passing him up, and chasing kids like Brini and Davis who are likely to burn us and go elsewhere.

Somebody needs to get in Rumph/Diaz's ear. They are Golden-level dumb with the way they are treating Roberts
