With this year’s roster almost done, Jai Lucas and his staff are now looking to the future. Four-star guard Aiden Derkack, in the class of 2026, was recently said on social media that he received an offer from Miami.

According to Alex Karamanos on Twitter, he has recently received offers from Miami, Xavier, Dayton, Creighton, and Providence.

Miami and coach Jai Lucas saw Aiden live during the EYBL session from this past weekend, where he played with Team Final, as he led his team to a 5-2 record at Memphis while he averaged 17.5 points per game, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game over this past weekend.

Aiden is a 6-foot-5, 165-pound wing that is from Colonia, New Jersey, and is rated as a four-star prospect, which is the No. 69 player in the class of 2026, and the No. 10 shooting guard, while also being the No. 3 player in the state of New Jersey.

The Derkack family has deep roots in basketball. His father, Gene, played as a forward at FIU University from 1995 to 1999, averaging 10.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
