****. Best wishes to Mark...

OK, does Deejay Dallas get moved to RB? He's not even in the WR rotation...

Brutal loss for this team. Really hurts our chances of winning the coastal.

Disagree. While we're all hurting for Mark, we did pull off a road win against a very talented team basically without him.

Without Walton we don't win that game. He had some key blocks.

But Homer and Burns and Gray need to be ready. Next man up!

Walton had almost no effect on the game and more negative then positive IMO. I knew after the game Walton was at least done for the month. Being done for both months now sucks but doesn't change my outlook to be honest.

The inability to recruit a decent rb this last recruiting class could cost us now.

I think at this point in time Homer is a great change of pace back.

Will be interesting to see how the coaching staff handle this. Walton was pivotal to our offence.

Is Burns even practicing? He's going to have to step up now you'd think.

****....just when he really seemed to be putting it togther. I was hoping they would incorporate some two back sets with him and Homer both out there.

Good luck to the young man in his recovery.

Why was he in during the 4th qtr of the Toledo game if the ankle was so bad?

Was having the best hangover in years, then this. Wish him a speedy recovery, and. Great future.

How do you know how bad his ankle was in the 4th quarter of the Toledo game?

Does everything have to be a "WHO'S GETTING FIRED FOR THIS" issue?

We are IMO down to one RB -- Homer. I hope I'm wrong, but I have no expectation that Burns and Gray will help out much.

Anyone remember 8-10 months ago, everyone was talking about how deep we'd be at RB. This is the reason why I always try to add more talent, even if it looks like you'll be loaded.

It would probably make sense to move DJ to RB full time now.

Walton was basically only in for blocking. Wasn't going to be catching out of backfield either. RPO wasn't fooling anyone. FSU had zero concern about Walton. Can stick an H back or TE in there to block if you need someone to pass pro and won't be a drop off blocking wise. Homer gives the threat of running (and he is faster than Walton). Even if Walton doesn't injure his other ankle, I suspect he would have been used sparingly (or not at all) until the VT game on Nov 4. A healthy Walton would be helpful against ND, VT, and to a lesser extent UVA. Homer can easily dominate the other teams, and I expect him to put up terrific numbers against the weaker opponents. So we are really "losing" Walton for just two games IMO (and of course, the ACC championship).

I hope they take Homer off special teams now.
