Washington Wizards rookie and former Miami Hurricane, Kyshawn George went nose-to-nose with Warriors star Draymond Green last night. While George and his Wizards team came up short, 125-112, he and fellow Wizard rookie, Bub Carrington, received high praise.

“That’s the first time we’ve seen a Washington Wizards team play that hard in years, and it’s because of [Bub and Kyshawn’s] energy," Draymond Green said post-game.

George posted 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists on 7-19 shooting including 6-17 from the three point line. This was George's third start of the year in six games. He is averaging 7.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists per game while shooting 31.5% from the field and 20.5% from three.

Kyshawn George and Draymond Green jawed back and forth all night. According to Draymond, Kyshawn told him, “You can’t shoot.”

Draymond responded: “When you were in elementary school, you were watching me win a championship and people were thinking that same thing.”

Kyshawn: “Yeah, I don’t care.”
