Absolutely bullied in the trenches. OJ Frédérique can’t cover a #1. Our tight ends are trash. Hundreds of yards in penalties AGAIN. Carson Beck is Tyler Van Dyke.

The loss isn’t unacceptable. The WAY we lost is. More of the same.

We weren’t bullied in the trenches. We were out schemed in the trenches. Big difference.

Sure, scheme is and issue, but when you’re running tight split duo up the middle for 0-2 yards every play, you are getting physically beaten. When you’re playing 4 down linemen and letting up 7.5 yards a carry to a running back, you are getting physically beaten.

From the rip it was obvious that we were unprepared and mentally out of it. The lack of urgency across the board and the constant penalties are disturbing.

Dawson's game plan and his playcalling tonight were an embarrassment. Look at how Jeff Brohm uses everything he has in order to exploit the defenses weaknesses. Brohm ran stuff last night that he hadn't shown all year. He sees your weaknesses on film and he exploits them all while making it easy on his QB. Dawson couldn't do that to save his life. He just runs the same thing over and over no matter who he faces.

Corey Hetherman got exploited by Brohm in the 1st quarter and gave up 2 TDs. The difference here is that unlike Dawson, Hetherman actually adjusted and after going down 14-0 early, Hetherman's defense held Brohm and Louisville to a measly 10 points the rest of the way. No, this loss is 100% on Beck, Dawson and the offense particularly Beck and his 5 interceptions(We all know he got bailed out by that Roughing the Passer penalty).

This rushing attack is pedestrian at best. I've felt that way from the beginning but on this board there are certain things that you are not allowed to say or you get called a mope and all this ridiculous garbage. We have hardly any explosive capability and everything is right up the middle but I keep getting told that we must do it this way because Muh negative plays and Muh prevent TFLs.

And can we please develop a quality 3rd option at WR? Where has Josh Moore gone? Tony Johnson? Keelan Marion is who he is but it doesn't seem like Dawson does enough to take advantage of his skill set. I'm not even going to ask about Jojo Trader because the whole thing is just comical at this point. The kid earns the right to wear the #1 Jersey but all of the sudden he forgot how to practice? GTFOOMFWTS!

Now that you mention it, where is Josh Moore?

Couldn't get out of that stadium fast enough. Louisville looked like the #2 team in the country. Not us.

I keep saying it — this one’s on Cristobal. You’re the leader, man — and your team looked like they hit snooze through kickoff. The defense came out flatter than a warm soda, the O-line looked like they were auditioning for “Dancing with the Stars,” and the discipline? Let’s just say our penalties had more yardage than some of our drives.

If Cristobal actually approved that game plan, then shame on him. It’s like we took a roster full of 4- and 5-stars, sprinkled in a few million dollars of NIL money, and said, “Let’s see how creative we can get losing to Louisville!”

Sure, he can recruit. He can hype. But until he learns how to actually coach on Saturdays, we’re just the nation’s most expensive cautionary tale. The U has officially become the college football version of a luxury car stuck in rush-hour traffic — looks good, sounds powerful, goes absolutely nowhere.
