Sources tell CanesInSight that DE Chad Thomas, who is dealing with an "upper extremity" injury, made the trip to Blacksburg with the Canes team for tomorrow night's game against Virginia Tech. There is no official word yet on if Thomas will play, but it is encouraging for Miami that he at least made the trip.

Thomas was listed as "questionable" on Miami's injury report.

"Questionable" means 50% chance of playing. So he **** well should make the trip. Ekanem is listed as questionable with an upper extremity injury, and I bet he's going to try to play.
