EA Sports college basketball always sucked. Was definitely not beloved.

CollegeHoops 2K series was the absolute standard. Still is from a realism, depth, immersion discussion points. They had full Selection Sunday show that was bespoke. Ability to recruit internationally years in advance. Gameplay that was a more sim, refined NBA2K.

Give the license to 2K.

"Give the license to 2K" I mean.... if I'm not mistaken, no one company owned the license so 2K was not and is not held back from making a college basketball game. Same as college football, they just chose not to.

but I do agree, CollegeHoops 2k was on another whole level. I do wish they get back into the college game.

Trinton, you use AI to write your articles? I ask because how old were you when this game was last out lol?
LOL. Man, I was only three when the last game dropped in 2010, but I’ve been hooked on the game since I got my hands on it at seven, trying to rebuild Grambling State to the National Championship. Just like with College Football, glad to see the series making a return.

Only 2 coaches I can say with 100% certainty that will be here in 3 years. Mario and Mirabal.
I actually would want that to be true but I've seen crazier things take place lol

"EA has delivered."

We will see about that....
