First off

Its ALL about the :neonu:.

What a day. What a 2 years. What a damn history of Hurricane athletics. On a day that we learned of NCAA using bullying tactics and illegal ways to dig dirt, we also had a basketball game tonight if you didnt know. We happen to play the #1 team in the country, conference foe Duke. Miami was 0-6 all time versus #1 ranked teams in the land coming in to this game. It was going to be a tough pull without the big man... but... whats this? Reggie was cleared to play right before the game. Ultimately he wasnt a factor but man it was good to see him back on the court. I was expecting a knockdown, drag out game that Miami would refuse to lose. Instead I got the opposite of that... crushing blow after crushing blow of relentless defense and knocking down open shots. Every single Miami player played well, and even had Tony Jakiri out there looking like Meadowlark Lemon with a slick behind the back pass that made the crowd go "oooh".

Quote of the night comes from Dickie Vitale.

"Duke is getting hit with layup, after layup, after layup, after layup, after layup, after layup, after layup."

TOP PERFORMERS - THE U

Durand Scott had an absolutely monster night. Hitting long 3's, driving the basket, getting steals, attacking on defense. He really played a complete game. 25 points, 6 boards, 4 assists.

Kenny "Superstar" Kadji. How in did UF let this guy get away? Highlight dunk after highlight dunk. 9-11 from the floor for 22 points and 5 boards. Couple of send you home blocks on the defensive end.

Shane Larkin had 18 points and 10 assists for the double-double.

Big Gamble had 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Top Performers - Dook

Plumlee had 15 and 11

Rasheed Salimonilidhyejg had 16.

Duke drops to 16-2 (2-2) in the ACC. They are still undefeated at home where we will go and play them on March the 2nd.The Mighty Catagory 5 Hurricanes improve to 14-3 (5-0) and have a 2 game cushion atop the ACC. We got the hated Noles coming in on Sunday before we get VT on the road.

You already know this part...

GREAT TO SAY THAT THE HURRICANES ROLLED

I've said it a few times on here, Kenny Kadji is one HOF father away from being my hero!

Cot Damn this day!

I couldn't post during the game I was so nervous. Now I want to be a part of every thread.

Who wants rep? I'm giving it out like Halloween candy.

I think Alex Collins committed at the game the fans were screaming Alex Collins and he threw up the U and hug coach golden tightly ohh baby

I thought we could win if we came out of the gates well, never thought we'd end up going on a 25-1 run. Hell of a job by our boys today, the sky's the limit with this team this year.

The importance of coach L can not be understated.

Great post but the quote of the night to me when Dickie V said " the best thing miami did was the hire of Al golden and coach L"

The students got a couple of chants going for our recruits who were there -- they did a fantastic job tonight!
