What some of you guys don't know is that Byrd was only a year younger than J.C. Jackson when they played. The kid will be 19 in September.
 
Byrd has a chance to be very good. Best player in this class followed by Shaq.

So was Travante Valentine, Mullins will be 19 alot of these kids were held back a year in grade school because of the Florida grade school state exams.. Kids like Kelvin Benjamin, Clarington, Ridley 2 were 2 years behind...

Demetrius Jackson just turned 21 too as a freshman.. Bottom line in college they all will be playing against grown men so it really don't matter

Yup. Helps them in college, forsure. What's it going to hurt, other than they'll be older when they begin their pro careers?
