I see your fan base are acting like petulant kids flying banners and not showing any support for your team. I see the focus seems to be on your D. Do you not see any improvement?

Yards Per Play
2012 - 6.11 (last in ACC)
2013 - 5.75
2014 - 4.46.
You have improved 22% since 2012

Scoring Defense
2012 - 30.5
2013 - 26.8
2014 - 24.4
You have improved 21% since 2012

Rushing Defense
2012 - 218 yards per game
2013 - 177
2014 - 151
You have improved 31% since 2012

Passing Defense
2012 - 268 yards per game (last in ACC)
2013 - 249
2014 - 175 (second in ACC)
You have improved 35% since 2012

Recruiting
2011 - 36
2012 - 9 (class of 33)
2013 - 20
2014 - 12
2015 - 14
2016 - 1

Clearly improving. I think 2012 at 9 is deceiving as it was 33 in total and I think about 1/2 are gone. 2014 teams are made up largely of players from 2011-2013. You can not count on true freshman as you currently are. In other words, I think you should be VERY critical of Golden but perhaps you are going a bit far.

Look at the schedule from 2012 to present. Every year the schedule got easier and to top it off still lost majority of the easier games

Let me make this real east there is a column called sched strength look there what does it say? Umm yes 23 so we have a top 25 schedule... Sorry i live in a world of facts

My goodness your backtracking is impressive. Let's try this instead: That #23 ranking you so astutely pointed out is based off of the records of the teams we play the previous year. That is incorporated with the rest of the stats to formulate the final adjusted ranking on the left, of which we are #38. You're welcome for clearing up the confusion.

Schedule strengtg you idiot.... Its clear in bold letters!!! Do you no how to read?

The guy who spelled, "strength," as, "strengtg," should not be questioning somebody else's ability to read.

You head is so far in the sand you refuse to recognize your own idiocy.

The strength of schedule you are pointing out in the above link is base off of this link: http://www.fbschedules.com/2014/04/2014-college-football-strength-of-schedule-ncaa-method/

I already explained to you the flawed methodology in said link and the former one recognized its flaws and it adjusted accordingly. Go grab a math textbook and figure it out.

Genius.

We haven't finished the season yet - and some of our tough games are coming up, so I'd guess that those 2014 numbers are going to get worse and then worser.

This country's school system has turned to crap, and is turning out crap.

(hint: try using equal sample sizes when doing comparisons.)

.......and even if we stayed the course and maintained the statistical improvements, it does not excuse the fact that winnable games were lost due to no coaching adjustments. They stayed with a bad scheme and UL, NB and GT basically said "OK," we'll just keep taking the 6 yards you're willing to concede. So yes, the players have improved but the coaching still suck.

Are you blaming what you see as an ignorant post on the educational system? Im not sure how else you would compare this years team to another. I had thought about the sample size as being smaller, 7 games is not terrible. I also considered that quality of opponents and their distribution. You did not pull a Duke/NCState and play your first 4 games against scrubs. Your schedule is pretty even first and second half. You opened with Louisville and have also played GT, Duke, and Nebraska who are are decent teams. In terms of quality remaining offenses you will play two in UNC and FSU. VT is terrible on O, and UVA/Pitt are nothing special.

Where are we in sacks, turnovers, tackles for losses, etc..-- the stats that win you games? Who cares what our yards per play defense is if we can't get the opponent's offense off the field and they are running a disproportionate amount of plays. The cherry-picking of stats is embarassing. Wins and losses are the only stats that matter. Anyone watching the GT game could tell Miami had far superior talent yet we lost by double digits.

Our wins are against horrible teams and our defense cut yards conceded against gt because they slow rolled us and held the ball up.

Wait till we finish before patting folden on the back.
