Rushing 3 against a first time starter is beyond retarded. Just as playing zone against a first time starter while only rushing 3. Whenever we did blitz we had favorable results as dude panicked.
 
Good stuff. Sitting back letting that first time QB get comfortable was sinful. Such basic ****.

I thought the same thing about the d lineman stance. The were squatting with weight on their heels. Obviously with no intentions of firing off the ball into the online, rather to stand up at the snap and take up space.

I will say they had a very hard time getting anything between the tackles, but every time they rushed off the tackles hip it was big yards.. Chick and whoever played the other end just got pushed inside and they gave no support on the edge.
 
He's spot on and more alum needs to get involved. lmbo...look at UL and look at us. UL said, "OK 1st yr QB, we're going to hit you and be in your face all night; if you beat us, kudos to you, but you're going to feel this heat." Al Golden said, "Ok 1st yr QB, we understand this is your first game, so I'm going to disguise some of my zone coverage. Hopefully, you can't see what we are doing." Different mentalities man, and we are looking real soft. Golden is so soft in his approach on EVERYTHING. He has a constant dumb look on his face and quite frankly, he wasn't ready for a program like ours. In the future Mr. Blake and Ms. Shalalah...WE, AS CANES FANS, DO NOT WANT NO ONE FROM PSU OR ND TO TRY TO RUN OUR PROGRAM!! BRING IN A REAL COACH THAT HAS SEC TIES OR UM TIES ONLY!!!
 
Pfft. The D played well enough to win. PBuch should also grow up. Be critical all you want...they deserve it...but stupid nicknames only make you look like a child.

YEP! Watch the tape again! Kamalu and Pierre look like they're taking ***** not anticipating the snap of the ball.

That 3-man "rush" last year made every QB we played look like a Heisman candidate. It's inexplicable.

To Donofrio's credit, at least he finally brought some pressure last night. But it should have been incessant from beginning to end.
