You are going to start hearing his name this year for serious consideration as an NFL head coach.

Guy has produced 2 straight NFL first round QB's and has another one on the way. He runs an NFL style offense.

Especially with openings in Tampa and Jacksonville.

Wouldn't shed a tear.

Guy is gonna cause problems for us as long as he's at FSU. Good coach and recruiter.

those two were two of the most questionable quarterback choices in the first round in the last 10 years and everyone seems to have noticed that they're complete frauds. the vikings and bills both deserve to live with their ridiculous draft picks.

Woah, complete frauds? What are you talking about?

Ponder has been pretty bad, but EJ Manuel looks legit.

Good. Though with some of the recent debacles of college HCs going to the pros, including Saban, Schiano, etc.... Im wondering if more and more College HCs are going to start realizing that there isnt really much of a benefit to going to the NFL, other than not having to recruit. A good college coach can stay employed a LONG time, and make a sh*t load of money, and build a reputation that can be just as lasting and meaningful as any NFL coach. Especially in the modern era.

ej was throwing 57% for 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions before he got hurt. also fumbled twice. he had a good first game against a bad patriots secondary and, admittedly, played well against carolina. otherwise he's been pretty bad.

yeah, i dont know why any of these guys would go to the NFL

the clear advantage that a coach at FSU for example has over most of their opponents is gone in the NFL

He leaves, he leaves. Golden going somewhere else is the only concern in my mind.

Stats don't tell the whole story. He was playing well. Look what the Bills have done since he was out:

2-2 with him.
1-4 without him.

It's going to be much tougher for Jimbo now that our sanctions are resolved and we have Golden instead of Randtard.

If there were never sanctions and/or Randy, we would have Kelvin Benjamin, Devonta Freeman and Rashad Greene on our campus amongst others.

We ahve already taken Gus Edwards, Stacey Coley and Joe Yearby from him.

Meh. he's a corch. Looking good now cause he's got an all world QB. Otherwise hes average. Great recruiter though.

Was surprised he looked as good as he did, wonder how he will play in Novembers and Decembers in Buffalo, Jim Kelly he is not, think of how many good quarterbacks that franchise has not had over the years, many.

i'm not saying that he's terrible ("fraud" may have been a little strong), but i don't think that he was worth a first-round pick. i think he was pretty average, but this is also the bills that we're talking about.

edit: and the only reason that they were even in the game against cleveland was because of spiller and jackson before ej got knocked out.

The inferiority complex some here are showing is disgusting.

Stay or go, Al Golden will make Jimbo and FSU his ***** in time.

****riding jimbo...really? He is a beast recruiter...and wait for it..wait for it...,a corch.

All of his qb oroteges are bust...jamarcus russell, ponder, on the way ej manuel. Three reaches..who look good in shorts throwing passes against air.

Winston looks good though...but he wasn't some find or development..dude was a no brainer 5 star that got to shirt.

Jimbo can recruit...has a nice recruiting staff..will flop in nfl..u ever hear him speak?

This is a coach that lost to NCS last year with a 1st round QB and blew a chance at NC and then lost to the gator team that got hammered by Loserville. Who cares one way or another. NCAA is gone, we are not the chumps we were, 2014 class is great and Golden will be eating his lunch in SOFL now. This year is his one and last chance. Golden will take win the games the next 4 years against Jimbo. FSU will do well in north FL and border, they always have. UF is sinking and both Miami and FSU will benefit from that. Jimbo wll be at FSU 20 years and win 2 titles, just like Bobby. Meanwhile, Al will win two and probably move on, leaving a machine for next coach. If school remembers its lesson and hires another current Head Coach instead of a coordinator, we will win another or two and then replace HC for maybe one more. After that is we will probably dip again for a few years.
